Homemade Cleaning Supplies


1/4 Teaspoon of Dish Detergent
1 Gallon of water
Can be used for:
  1. wash dishes
  2. mop floors
  3. wash woodwork
  4. spot-clean greasy stains
  5. pre soak oily and greasy clothes
  6. clean gunky tools
  7. wash gunky hands
  8. wash walls
Cheap liquid soap + vegetable oil=hand wash

baking soda + Salt= Scouring Powder
Can be used for:
  1. sinks
  2. tubs
  3. scuff marks on the floor
  4. auto chrome
  5. buggy windshield
  6. scrub stove and drip pans
1/2 cup of amonia can clean floors and will clean your stove if you leave it in a shallow dish over night.

a few drops of ammonia or 1/4 cup of vinegar + 1 cup of water= window cleaner

use newspapers to polish windows or mirrors

1 cup of water+ 1 teaspoon of baking soda= microwave cleaner
(put in microwave and run 2-3 minutes and wipe with a damp cloth)

or

3 teaspoons of lemon juice+ 1/2 cup of water (heat microwave on high for 10 minutes and wipe with a damp cloth)

1 cup of baking soda + 1 cup of vinegar= drain cleaner

tablespoon of vinegar + dish detergent= soft hands
